Indeed, Russia is one of the main exporters of gas and oil in Europe and the current political instability leads to price volatility. Since then, many decisions have been taken at the European level to reduce our energy dependence on Russia.<\/mark><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique fran\u00e7ais et r\u00e9unionnais<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Si le mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique fran\u00e7ais est moins carbon\u00e9 que ses voisins europ\u00e9ens gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une production \u00e9lectrique majoritairement nucl\u00e9aire, la situation \u00e0 La R\u00e9union est diff\u00e9rente. En tant que zone non-interconnect\u00e9e avec un r\u00e9seau routier tr\u00e8s dense, La R\u00e9union pr\u00e9sente un mix \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique compos\u00e9 majoritairement d\u2019\u00e9nergies fossiles&nbsp;: plus de 85% de la consommation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique est d\u2019origine fossile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These fossil fuels are obviously imported and Reunion's objective is to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels (in particular through the implementation of its Pluriannual Energy Program, or PPE), until it achieves energy autonomy. The implementation of this PPE should allow a positive evolution of the rate of energy independence as well as the rate of electrical independence, to reach respectively 31% and 56% in 2028. Si la France fait office de cas particulier, elle n\u2019en est pas moins impact\u00e9e par l\u2019embargo sur ces mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res et par les d\u00e9cisions prises en repr\u00e9sailles par le gouvernement russe. La R\u00e9union, bien que situ\u00e9e \u00e0 plus de 9&nbsp;000 kms de la m\u00e9tropole, ressent \u00e9galement les effets sur sa propre consommation d\u2019\u00e9nergie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comme observ\u00e9 par l\u2019ensemble des automobilistes de l\u2019\u00eele, les prix \u00e0 la pompe ne cessent d\u2019augmenter depuis de nombreux mois. En l\u2019espace d\u2019un an, les prix du gasoil et du sans-plomb ont connu des augmentations respectives de&nbsp;<strong>34%<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>19%<\/strong>. Malgr\u00e9 la remise \u00e0 la pompe de 15 centimes depuis le d\u00e9but du mois d\u2019avril, cela n\u2019a pas suffi \u00e0 contrebalancer enti\u00e8rement la hausse des prix comme on peut le constater sur le graphique ci-contre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gaz a subi le m\u00eame type d\u2019inflation que les carburants pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment cit\u00e9s&nbsp;: en un an, le prix de la bouteille de gaz de 12,5 kg a subi une augmentation de&nbsp;<strong>38%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"560\" src=\"https:\/\/www.integrale.re\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Capture-decran-204-1024x560.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8907\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.integrale.re\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Capture-decran-204-1024x560.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.integrale.re\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Capture-decran-204-300x164.png 300w, https:\/\/www.integrale.re\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Capture-decran-204-768x420.png 768w, https:\/\/www.integrale.re\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/Capture-decran-204.png 1469w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"font-size:10px\"><em>Evolution des prix de l\u2019essence \u00e0 La R\u00e9union. However, the State and EDF have taken charge of most of this increase so that the entire increase is not passed on to end consumers' bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increase in prices does not date from the beginning of the Ukrainian crisis, which is only one cause among others. It is a global trend that is intensified by this crisis. Numerous studies (carried out by the CRE, the Cour des Comptes, the UFE, ...) project a continuous increase in the price of electricity between now and 2030, which will necessarily be reflected in the rates observed in Reunion Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, as a non-interconnected zone, electricity production in Reunion is significantly more expensive than in mainland France. However, the principle of tariff equalization makes it possible to standardize the price of electricity for the whole of France (mainland and DROM). Thus, the people of Reunion Island do not pay more for their electricity bill despite a higher local production cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:18px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What consequences for buildings?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En tant qu\u2019un des principaux consommateurs d\u2019\u00e9nergie, le secteur du b\u00e2timent a un r\u00f4le majeur \u00e0 jouer. Le co\u00fbt haussier de l\u2019\u00e9nergie doit inciter les propri\u00e9taires et les locataires \u00e0 anticiper cette contrainte et entamer la mise en place d\u2019une d\u00e9marche de maitrise des consommations. Le b\u00e9n\u00e9fice financier est loin d\u2019\u00eatre n\u00e9gligeable puisque l\u2019on estime que la mise en place d\u2019action de sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 et d\u2019efficacit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique permet d\u2019\u00e9conomiser de 5 \u00e0 10% sur sa facture \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique d\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e. Ces \u00e9conomies peuvent \u00eatre obtenues en rationalisant certains des principaux postes de consommation&nbsp;: l\u2019\u00e9clairage, la climatisation, la ventilation et la bureautique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As an example, for an office building of 2,000 m\u00b2 consuming 140 kWh\/m\u00b2\/year, this represents an annual bill of about 30,000 \u20ac HT (excluding subscription and taxes).
